Every sportsperson dreams of marching in as Olympic athlete to thunderous applause and the national anthem. The World Sports Tournament Opening Ceremony on Friday is a chance to do exactly that. Nation for nation, all competitors will enter the Südstadt-Stadium and will be greeted by the cheering crowd.
After the official greetings, different acts will be performed for your entertainment. You will then be asked to take the Athlete’s Oath of the Festival, along with thousands of other athletes. For the grand finale of this unique ceremony, magnificent fireworks will illuminate the sky.
