MODE AND RULES
Every match consists of two sets, each played to 25 points. Maximum playing time is one hour. If the siren sounds during a rally, the point is to be played. In order to determine the ranking after the group rounds, points are awarded as follows: | Won set | 1 point |
| lost set or W.O. | 0 points |
The tournament will be held according to the rules of the international Volleyball federation FIVB. For details, click here.
SEMI FINALS AND FINALS
Best of three determines the winners of the finals and semi finals. In case of a 1:1 draw, the third set will be played to 15 points, with a required advantage of 2 points.
Regulations of advancement
A table is compiled at the end of the group rounds. The rankings depend on:
- In case of even points, the set ratio is the decisive factor
- In case of even points and identical set ratio, the best ball point margin is the decisive factor
- In case of equal margins, playoffs decide.
SUBSTITUTIONS
The number of substitutions during a match is not limited.
TIME OUT
Every team is entitled to one timeout of 1 minute per set.
U13 TOURNAMENT
The U13 competition will be held on a smaller sized court and with only 4 playing athletes on the field.
HEIGHT OF NET
U15 girls: 2.18 metres height / boys: 2.30 metres
U17 girls: 2.24 metres height/ boys 2.35 metres
SWEEPER
Every team is entitled to play with one sweeper.
