Bowling

MODE AND RULES
Basically this tournament starts as team competition. All players are divided into groups of 3 or 4 (depending on order of application). The 30 best bowlers of the team competition qualify for the next round – the individual competition.
TEAM COMPETITION
The players of one team will be selected from any nation, any age group and any average group. The handicap- system ensures a fair distribution of players among the groups.| Group | A | B | C | D | E |
| Average | >190 | 189,9-175 | 174,9-160 | 159,9-145 | <144,9 |
| Handicap | 0 | 5 / game | 10 / game | 15 / game | 20 / game |
The averages considered here have to be notified to the tournament officials before the tournament (including handicap). If no average was notified, players will automatically be assigned average group A. Teams will be announced on the day of the tournament at the latest. All teams play 4 by 3 games, changing alley after every game.
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION
The top 30 players with the highest score in their respective age group (incl. Handicap) qualify for the individual competitions. A players’ pinfall is carried on to the individual competition, which consists of a series of 6 games (incl. change of alley). After 6 games, the 4 players (male & female) with the highest scores (incl. handicap) will move on to the stepladder finals. STEPLADDER FINALS
In the first game, players in 4th and 3rd place (from the individual competition) compete against each other. The winner then challenges the player in 2nd place. The victor of that second round then plays against the winner from the individual competitions. After four games the winners of each age group and sex are determined. The tournament is held according to the rules of the WTBA. For details, click here.
