MODE AND RULES
The preliminaries will be played in groups, all play all. Points are awarded as follows:

Then follow the playoffs with the 1st of the group playing against the 2nd, the 3rd against the 4th and so on...
DRAW
In case of a draw after the regular playing time, extra time of 1x3 minutes, and subsequently sudden death rounds determine the winner (exception finals and semi finals: extra time, three minutes at a time, is given until decision). BALL SIZE AND UNIFORMS

Teams must bring two differently coloured sets of uniforms in order to ensure a clear distinction between teams and avoid confusion due to similar uniforms in a game.
Penalties and disqualifications
5 personal or 2 technical fouls (the second technical foul against a player or coach being disqualifying)
Disciplinary fouls: the player is suspended from the next game by default. The tournament committee can extend the suspension according to the severity of the foul.
After 8 team fouls per half time, fouls will be penalised with free throws, except for team control fouls.
Special rules
- One time out in the 1st half, two in the 2nd half
- One 60 second time out during extra time or
- 24 second rule at the discretion of the referee
- A sudden death period begins with a jump ball, all others according to Possession Arrow
- U14 play with head-to-head defence.

Exception regulations
Due to varying cut-off dates among national Basketball associations, there are certain exceptions. Applications for exceptions must be directed to the tournament committee in writing. Players must be less than 6 months too old; there are only two exceptions per team.General tournament rules
