• Where does the WSF 2012 take place?
The centre of the festival is Players Town, located in Austria’s largest event venue, the Eventhotel Pyramide **** in Vösendorf near Vienna. Our sports venues are all based very closely, with a shuttle service providing transport to most of them (€ 12 p.p. for 3 days).
  • What age group?
The age groups vary between the different sports. Details can be found in the descriptions of each discipline.
  • Can parents, fans or siblings come too?
Yes please! They even pay €20 less per overnight package (e.g.: € 70 for Basic Package instead of € 90) because they won’t be using the sports venues. Of course they too are invited to support their athletes at the tournaments, the opening ceremony and the Players’ Party.
  • How many coaches can come to the festival?
Most teams arrive with two or three coaches, but you can decide for yourself how many you want to bring.

Of course! We always have a few ambitious school teams at the World Sports Festival, accompanied either by their parents or teachers. Your team will definitely be faced by worthy opponents to challenge you.
  • How much does it cost?

A deposit of 10% of the total fee (max. €250) must be transferred within 14 days of sending the application to ensure a place for you and your team at the World Sports Festival. The outstanding payment can be made up to two weeks before the beginning of the tournament. This gives you enough time to collect the money from the competitors in your team. If you have any questions or need help with the form, don’t hesitate to call +43 1 478 80 90 – 28.
  • What does the early bird discount entail? What is discounted?
